DESIGNED FOR YOUR PROPERTY
Professional Landscape Lighting for Blasdell Homes
A property can feel completely different after sunset. Walkways become harder to follow, architectural details disappear, mature trees fade into the background, and backyard gathering areas can feel disconnected from the home.
We design landscape lighting around the way your property actually looks and functions at night. Path lights provide comfortable visibility without creating a runway effect. Uplights reveal architecture and mature trees. Carefully positioned fixtures bring depth to gardens, pool areas, and outdoor living spaces without flooding the property with harsh light.

A REAL BLADELL TRANSFORMATION
Replacing a Failing Landscape Lighting System in Blasdell
Chuck contacted us because his existing landscape lighting system was failing throughout the property. We inspected the fixtures, wiring, connections, and the overall condition before designing a complete replacement.
WHAT WE FOUND
The Existing System Was Failing
Direct-burial cable had been left exposed. Unsealed twist-on connectors were loosening, wiring was vulnerable to moisture, pathway fixtures were corroded, and failed seals had allowed water to destroy the pool-area rock lights.
• Exposed cable and wiring
• Loose, unsealed connections
• Corroded pathway fixtures
• Water-damaged rock lights
• Multiple nonworking fixtures

THE DETAIL CHUCK LOVED MOST
A Soft Light That Climbed Into the Tree
One backyard tree had never been illuminated. We positioned the lighting so a soft beam appeared to travel naturally upward through the trunk and branches.
The effect was subtle, elegant, and completely changed the depth of the backyard. Chuck loved the result and continued talking about the tree lighting throughout the final walkthrough.

A Lighting System Is Only as Reliable as What You Cannot See
Fixtures get the attention, but exposed cable, poor connections, water intrusion, and uncontrolled voltage drop are where many systems begin to fail.
01
Properly Buried Cable
Direct-burial low-voltage cable is carefully routed, concealed, and protected while remaining serviceable.
02
Weather-Sealed Connections
Protected connection methods help keep moisture away from the conductors through rain, irrigation, snowmelt, and freeze-thaw cycles.
03
Premium Fixtures
Path lights, uplights, accents, and pool-area rock lights are selected for their specific locations and lighting effects.
04
Balanced Power
The transformer and cable runs are planned around the complete fixture load for consistent performance throughout the property.
OUR PROCESS
From Property Evaluation to the Final Nighttime Adjustment
Every project is designed as one complete system, not a collection of unrelated fixtures.
01
Property Evaluation
We walk the property, discuss how you use it, and inspect any existing fixtures, cable, connections, transformer, and controls.
02
Custom Lighting Design
We plan the architecture, walkways, plantings, trees, pool area, and outdoor spaces around the lighting effect each location requires.
03
Professional Installation
We install the transformer, fixtures, direct-burial cable, protected connections, and automatic controls with a clean daytime appearance in mind.
04
After-Dark Adjustment
We refine angles, control glare, balance brightness, and review the completed system with you under real nighttime conditions.

Landscape Lighting Maintenance in Blasdell
Chuck also selected our maintenance plan. Plants grow, soil shifts, mulch changes, and weather can gradually affect fixture alignment. Ongoing care keeps the lighting intentional instead of allowing small issues to accumulate.
• Lens cleaning and fixture straightening
• Re-aiming around plant growth
• Transformer and timer checks
• Visible wiring and connection inspection
• Approved lamp and component replacement

A Nighttime View Worth Being Excited About
"This looks absoutely amazing, when I go for my walk around the corner, I can really see how the lights climb up the tree! I can see it from the corner and am happy with this recommendation. It's subtle, and now like a spotlight"

COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQ for Landscape Lighting in Blasdell, NY
How much does landscape lighting cost in Blasdell, NY?
Projects begin at $1,200. The final investment depends on fixture count and type, transformer requirements, cable routing, property size, access, and whether an older system must be removed. We evaluate the property and provide a custom recommendation rather than using a generic fixture package.
Can you repair or reuse my existing landscape lighting system?
We can inspect an existing system and explain what we find. We do not perform partial retrofits when unknown fixtures, deteriorated cable, unsafe connections, or widespread failures prevent us from standing behind the work. In those cases, a complete replacement is usually the dependable path if we cannot identify the issue.
Why do outdoor lighting connections fail?
Moisture is a common cause. Unprotected connectors, exposed conductors, damaged cable, and failed seals allow water to reach electrical components. Chuck’s Blasdell system showed several of these conditions, including loose connectors, exposed wiring, corrosion, and water-damaged pool lights.
Can you install landscape lighting around a pool?
Yes. Pool-area lighting requires careful fixture selection, glare control, moisture resistance, and placement. We evaluate the pool area and select appropriate low-voltage lighting applications for the surrounding stonework, landscaping, trees, and gathering areas.
Does landscape lighting require maintenance?
Some maintenance should be expected because the surrounding landscape keeps changing. Plant growth can block light, soil can shift fixtures, mulch can cover lenses, and weather can affect alignment. Our maintenance plan keeps the system clean, aimed, positioned, and operating as designed.
